Damn Brad Little,
I spoke to a highly influential Idaho legislator today for nearly an hour. My jaw dropped several times during the conversation. Governor Brad Little is drunk on the power he has taken from the people, especially from the legislators. He has told them more than once that he does not have to listen the them. He said, "There is nothing you can do about it." Twice, in two different conversations, he laughed at multiple legislators when they plead with him to end the stay at home order. He refuses to give anyone, including the Lieutenant Governor, an explanation of how he is calculating when the order will be lifted. He only indicated, "When I say". Heather Scott called him "Little Hitler" and after talking to this leading legislator, I think she is exactly right.
Governor Little is a man that has never had to provide for himself. He received massive wealth from his great grandfather and was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Many years ago when federal agencies where threatening the existence of small ranchers all over Idaho and Oregon, Brad Little supporting the BLM, publicly said, "I will buy them all up for pennies on the dollar." These same ranchers ran him out of town and still to this day call him a "lowlander". This man is not a friend to the people. He is not what I or many other thought he was. He is acting like a Tyrannical King rather than a limited Governor among a free people.
The Idaho Legislature may terminate “a state of disaster emergency order” at any time, using the authority in 46-1008 to pass a resolution to end the order.
We call upon the Legislature to immediately ASSEMBLE, OR BY ANOTHER MEANS, CONCUR BY RESOLUTION TO TERMINATE THIS UNWARRANTED STATE OF DISASTER ORDER.
Idaho State Law,
46-1008, (2), no state of disaster emergency may continue for longer than thirty (30) days unless the governor finds that it should be continued for another thirty (30) days or any part thereof. The legislature by concurrent resolution may terminate a state of disaster emergency at any time.
We give special invitation to ALL IDAHO LEGISLATORS TO BE PRESENT at the peoples meeting this Thursday, 8pm, 800 E. Locust Street, Emmett, Idaho 83617.
